About Kiyaan Singh

Kiyaan Singh follows questions that rarely stay inside one subject: how intelligence emerges, how people learn, why systems behave as they do, and what becomes possible when we understand them better. His work brings together science, technology, human behaviour and everyday experimentation through writing, practical projects and video.

Living systems, minds and computation

His interests in biology, applied psychology and neuroscience centre on living systems and human capability. He explores how people pay attention, form habits, make decisions, communicate and acquire skills. These questions connect with his interest in biocomputing: how biological processes might help us think differently about information, intelligence and computation.

In computing, his curiosity extends beyond conventional architectures to brain-inspired, optical, biological and other alternative approaches. Mathematics and physics provide tools for examining those possibilities, understanding their limits and separating a promising idea from a demonstrated result. Software and hands-on projects offer ways to turn that exploration into something he can test.

The systems behind everyday life

Kiyaan also examines the larger systems that shape modern life: energy, engineering, aviation, space, finance, trade and infrastructure. He is interested in how technical choices interact with economics, incentives, resources and human decisions. His world of learning and exploration includes IIT Madras, alongside independent reading, experimentation and building.

That range takes different forms across his publications. NauticHQ explores aviation, space, drones and engineering. NergHQ examines energy, technology and infrastructure. EximHQ follows trade, shipping, ports, logistics and the networks behind everyday goods. Each project provides a focused place to investigate a wider question: how does this system actually work, and why does it matter?

Languages, cooking and connection

His curiosity also has an everyday side. Language learning is a way to connect with people and cultures while developing clearer expression. Cooking combines technique, observation, experimentation and the pleasure of sharing something tangible. Both reflect the same willingness to practise, make mistakes, notice details and try again.

Sharing the process

Through articles, niche blogs, short videos and visual storytelling, Kiyaan shares the process of exploring these interests. Filmmaking, editing and design help him communicate an idea clearly, whether it begins with a research paper, an engineering problem, a conversation or an experiment in the kitchen.

The thread connecting his work is curiosity followed by action: learn something, make something, examine the result and improve it. His projects document that continuing effort to understand more, develop useful capabilities and make complex ideas accessible to other curious people.
